Fresh off her win at the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) for Best R&B/Soul Album, Lordkez is already gearing up to bless fans with a brand-new project, titled ‘You, Me & The 90’s’.
Reflecting on her creative process, Lordkez shared:
“After winning the South African Music Award for Best R&B/Soul Album, I went straight back into the studio to cook up another classic that honours my musical roots. I wanted to make the kind of music I grew up listening to.”
The upcoming project draws heavy inspiration from the nostalgic sounds that shaped her childhood, offering a personal and heartfelt tribute to 90s music.
Lordkez has also revealed the official artwork and a 7-song tracklist for ‘You, Me & The 90’s’, which is set to drop on March 27th, 2025.
